Quetta brilliant performance led them to a fine win in the Karachi Open Taekwondo Championship on Sunday while Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa grabbed second position. 

The said event was held at Sports Complex in Government Degree Girls College, Karachi, under supervision of Sindh Taekwondo. 400 Athletes participated from Karachi, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, Lahore, Multan, Kohat and Quetta divisions. 

In senior Female category, Karachi Tigers took the honor with first, Karachi Champions stands second and Multan stand on 3rd Position. 

Ali Haider from Karachi in Male category and Ambereen Shafiq in female category chosen Best Fighter in Championship. 

In Cadet category, District West stand first, District Central remained second and District south stands on third on victory stand. 

President South Asian Teakwondo Association Omar Saeed graced the event as Chief Guest and distributed prizes and medals. Ahmed Chauhan, Chairman Pakistan Taekwondo Schools Association, Secretary General Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, Asif Azeem Media Advisor POA, Syed Mahfooz ul Haq VP Sindh Taekwondo, Kamran Qureshi President Sindh Taekwondo and Muhammad Faraz Usman President Karachi Taekwondo were also present in event.
