Pakistan Taekwondo Federation under the supervision of Punjab Taekwondo Association was successfully organized National Junior Taekwondo Championship from 21st to 23rd June at the Women Sports Complex, Agricultural University Faisalabad. This prestigious national-level event witnessed enthusiastic participation from across the country, with teams representing all provinces Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) as well as departmental teams including Army, WAPDA, Pakistan Railways, and the Pakistan Air Force.
The Opening Ceremony graced by Dr. Najma Afzal, Ex MNA as the Chief Guest, alongside distinguished guests including Mr. Murtaza Hassan Bangash, Secretary General of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, Dr. Izhar ul Haq, Secretary of Punjab Taekwondo Association, Mr. Manzar Shah, Divisional Sports Officer Faisalabad, and Mr. Atif Bhatti, Director Sports of Agricultural University Faisalabad.
The championship featured competitions in five Khyrougi categories (sparring) and five Poomsae categories (pattern performance), showcasing the immense talent and dedication of young athletes from across the nation.
Final Standings:
- 🥇 1st Position – Pakistan Army
- 🥈 2nd Position – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK)
- 🥉 3rd Position – WAPDA
